Fish Lake

On Wednesday July 16 we went camping with a bunch of friends. I guess the camping trip started out as just our friend and his dog and ended up with 11 people going. There was me, Dan, Jimmy, Mikey, Bobby, Brian, Ryan, Raquel, Gabby, Brittani, and Brittany and 3 dogs. When we got there it was late, cold, and windy. I guess the ice had only been off the lake for 3 weeks when we got there. A few of the tips of mountains still had a little bit of snow on them. In the morning they were wiping the frost/ice off the boats.

Thursday is when we started all the fishing. This was my first time ever on the boat and it was fun for a minute. This boat was just a 4 seat fishing boat. About as big as the aluminum ones that you can rent. It had a motor. Anyways when we went out it was windy and there were quite a few white caps on the lake. So the boat was rocking quite a bit. We were out there all day pretty much. Then the moment we started going to head back to camp I started getting sick. By the time we got back to camp I was ready to puke. I didn't think that I would get motion sickness but I did.

Friday I spent all day in the tent. I was still very sick. The smell of food was making me throw up. I couldn't move without feeling like I was going to throw up.

Saturday morning I was still a little sick. Not nearly as bad though. I was able to eat a apple. That made me feel a whole lot better. That was the day that I went on the pontoon. What a huge difference compaired to the little boat from the first day. I felt like I was in a car. Got a little nausous but only lasted like 2 seconds. I stayed on that boat all day. It was a little windy but not bad.

Sunday was when we packed up and went home. All of us got sun burned. Mine and Dan's noses are burned and same with our lips. Thats about it on us. Our buddy Jimmy looks like he is wearing a super man mask on his eyes. He didn't ever wear a hat or take his sun glasses off so he has coon eyes. Looks hilarious.

Dan's Family

I finally got to meet someone in Dan's family. His older brother came down from Saratoga Springs to pick up his daughter for the summer. We got to hang out with him a lot.

Yesterday we were with him and his wife all day. We went over to his wife's family's house for dinner. They made flank steak, potatoe salad, shrimp salad, cake, and homemade ice cream. it was awesome. Dan is a lot like his brother Donnie. It was crazy lol.

Grandma I remember telling you how I've been crocheting a lot lately. Well I took pictures of every thing that I've done so far. Except for a few of the items that I've sold and didn't have my camera at the time. I didn't realize that you read my blog or I would have posted them here sooner. Yard

I've noticed that everyone is posting pictures of their beautiful yards as they are coming along this summer. I got bored today and took some pictures of flowers in our yard. There are also pictures of the cats. All the descriptions of the pictures are underneath the picture.

We had a wind storm one night last week. Didn't think it was that bad. I went out to water the garden and found this!!!

Its been FOREVER

Wow! Its been like 2 whole months since I wrote in here. A lot has happened in that 2 months. Well kinda not really.
I'm still in St. George and loving it. I have posted some pictures that I have taken of random things in my yard on facebook. Me and Dan are doing great. He is the biggest sweetheart! He's definitely the one for me. We are the exact same person. Anyways.
In about a month or so we are moving to Eureka, California. Our friend has like 2,000 acres of land out there, and I guess it has old redwood trees that have been on the ground for like 100 years or more. They salvage those old trees and make all kinds of things and sell them. I'll take a picture of a couple chairs in my backyard that he has made. Him and his dad have also done decks, floors, cabinets, counter tops, etc. It is so beautiful and amazing. Those trees are huge and I can't wait to be able to get to see them in real life finally. Don't worry I will be taking pictures.
Anyways we are going up there for the summer so Dan can work with them. We will be moving back to Utah in like 4-6 months. Its only a seasonal job. I do believe we will be doing that for a few years.
My birthday this year was amazing. Its been the best one in years. Dan had invited a bunch of our friends over. He even had one of them bring my favorite game in the whole wide world. GUITAR HERO!!!! Yeah so thats really the only time I can brag about something and actually mean what I say. Its so fun, and fun to talk my self up about it. Haha see! I just did it. Oh well. Anyways Dan BBQ'd some Carolina Honey BBQ Chicken for dinner and also made this Hawaiian mac salad. It was yummy. He got me a digital camera. Later that night he surprised me with all our friends and him walking into the room with a cake that had 2 candles on it. Each of them being a 2. Of course they were singing "Happy Birthday". According to them I was as red as a tomato. I knew I was. I hate that stuff. Oh well.

St. George

Well I moved to St. George. I've been here, well it will be 2 weeks on Friday. I love it down here. I moved in with my boyfriend, who I met in Mesquite. I came down just to visit him and be with him for a few days but it ended up that I didn't want to go home and he didn't want me to go home either. So I decided to stay. My grandparents aren't to happy with me right now. But I'm super happy where I am. I've never felt like this for anyone before. Not even Brian. I think that this relationship is heading some where really good.

Mesquite

Last Friday me and the grandparents went to Las Vegas to help my family down there. We got there about 3 pm Friday afternoon. Had a blast with the kiddos. Playing mommy for them is fun. Its so funny though cause they don't listen to my grandparents much. But they listen to me all the time.

Monday morning we left and drove to Mesquite. My grandparents get free rooms at the Virgin River Hotel and Casino. So we stayed till Thursday morning. They gave me money to gamble and its really not that fun. But anyways.

Wednesday night is when I had the most fun. Waiting for the drawing to end, I was in the Lounge Room where there is usually a live band playing. Well American Made Band was there. You can check them out at www.americanmadeband.com or on facebook. Anyways. During their 2nd break the guitar play came and started talking to me. We talked the entire time during his break. He lives in Salt Lake by the airport. They dedicated a love song to me. I don't remember the name. The next song they played he jumped off stage still playing his guitar. He had one of those wireless things that hooks up to the amp. He ran over to me and asked me if I knew how to 2 step. I told him yes but its been so long. So he ran back up on stage and played the part where he had to step on the pedal to change the sound of the guitar. After that was done he ran back down to me and told me to put my hands on his shoulders. So I did and we started dancing while he was still playing the guitar and singing. I had never seen anything or done anything like it. I messed up a couple times cause its been sooooo long since I've 2 stepped. But after the song was done he went back up and played till his next break. We talked on every break they took. Then danced during one of the breaks cause they put music on during them. He dedicated a few more songs to me and played a few of my requests. When they were done playing he invited me to go to his show in April in Wendover, I told him I'd try and make it.

So this afternoon when we got home I looked at their website and the band is older than I am. Jeff (guitar player) is probably about the same age as my dad (Kev). I knew he was up there cause he's got grey in his beard. But I really don't care. My intentions are not to get with him. He's just a real sweet fun guy that I met and I am probably going to become real good friends with.

I really can't wait to see them play again. They are great. They've opened for tons of different bands including Garth Brooks and a few others. You really should check them out. Again its

I am an offical Salt Lake Community College Student!!!

So today I went to SLCC to talk with an acedmic Advisor about what classes I need to take to be a labor and delivery nurse. Talked to her, then filled out the application, paid the fee, and took SAT test to find out what level I am in English and Math. But when the lady processed my application fee she handed me a student id card with a number on it and said, "You are now officially a student at SLCC!!!!" I'm so excited.

Job Interview

I had a job interview today. I was under the impression that it was for a call center out by the airport. Well I had the 1st interview and got asked to stay for a second interview. During the 2nd interview there was about 20 of us in the room. It turns out that its a sales job. But not your typical sales job, no cold calling or door to door selling. It was by referal only and we'd set appointments to meet with families and go see them. I didn't want that kind of job so I told them I can't accept it for that reason. But I didn't say that I told them I couldn't accept it because I didn't have my own car. I wasn't to happy that the add said it was for a call center. So yeah.

This is really embarrassing but I NEED HELP!!!

So this is really embarrassing but I don't know what to do about it. I've finally come to the conclusion that I have a hemorrhoid. I've researched and researched about it before I finally decided thats what I have. I've had it for a couple of days now. It hurts and is so uncomfy.

I hope that some of you can help me with how to get rid of it and ease the pain. I asked my grandma and she didn't know what to tell me. I'm hopping that one of you guys have a trick up your sleeve or maybe grandma does. PLEASE HELP!!!

Winter Sucks

I'm so sick of this weather. I want it to be summer all ready. I do have to say that I'm glad the inversion isn't as bad as it was a few weeks ago. I can finally breath. So I've been thinking a lot about taking photography in college, when I can get in. I took a few photos of somethings just in my backyard. My grandma says that it looks like we live on a farm. But we don't.

BEST DATE IN THE WORLD

I just went on the best date in the world. I met this one online also lol. I liked him instantly just from hearing his voice on the phone. When he got to my house and I saw him another instant attraction. He's part Italian. He's just up here in Utah to visit his family, he is stationed out in Texas for the military. He goes back on Saturday. Its going to suck but we are going to stay in contact. He can make me smile and laugh really easy. He's got a full sleeve of tattoos on one arm and working on the other arm, and for some reason I've always been attracted to guys with a lot of tattoos. I just like it a lot for some reason. But anyways back to the date. He took me to Tucci's. Its an Italian place that I picked out at Trolley Square. Then we drove to a park and walked around for a while then just drove around town. He's never been up this far north and so I showed him around Salt Lake City. He lived in Lehi for a good portion of his life. We had great chemistry. I was hoping I was gonna get a kiss at the end of the night but not today maybe next time.

SINGLE!!!!

SO STUPID TYSON DUMPED ME TODAY. IT ALL STARTED AS AN ARGUMENT OVER THE STUPID TV AND FROM THERE IT JUST ESCALATED. HE ENDED UP THROWING THINGS IN MY DIRECTION. DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS AT ME CAUSE IT WAS MY BAG FULL OF CLOTHES THAT WASN'T ZIPPED UP SO THEY FLEW EVERYWHERE AND A SOCK ACTUALLY HIT ME LOL. THEN HE STARTED PUNCHING WALLS AND SCREAMING AT ME AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS. SAID HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE AROUND ME OR EVEN SEE ME. TOLD ME THAT HE WAS SICK OF OUR RELATIONSHIP AND THAT HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE WITH ME ANYMORE. SO I TOLD HIM THAT I'LL GIVE HIM HIS KEY BACK ONCE I HAVE ALL MY THINGS. AND HE STARTED CLEANING HIS ROOM LOOKING FOR ALL MY STUFF. HE WANTED TO TAKE ME HOME BUT AFTER EVERYTHING THAT JUST HAPPENED AND HOW ANGRY HE WAS I TOLD HIM NO BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO BE IN A VEHICLE WITH HIM THAT MAD. THEN HE WOULDN'T LET ME USE HIS PHONE SO I WAS ABOUT READY TO WALK 1-2 MILES HOME. THEN HE LET ME USE HIS PHONE AFTER BEGGING AND PLEADING WITH HIM. SO I CALLED MY GRANDMA AND SHE CAME AND GOT ME. I EVEN TOLD HIM THAT I SHOULD HAVE BROKE UP WITH HIM WHEN HE WAS ABUSING HIS CAT, CAUSE THAT IS HOW THINGS START LIKE THAT. THEY START WITH ANIMALS THEN MOVE TO PEOPLE. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT HE ISN'T GOING TO HIT ME EVEN THOUGH HE SAYS HE WOULDN'T. AFTER WHAT I SAW TONIGHT WHO KNOWS WHAT HE IS CAPEABLE OF DOING TO PEOPLE. I JUST DIDN'T WANT IT TO BE ME.

SO I DECIDED THAT I'M GOING TO TRY AND STAY SINGLE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. IF SOMEONE COMES INTO MY LIFE THEN COOL IF NOT THEN COOL TOO. I JUST REALLY NEED TO GET BACK ON MY FEET BEFORE I THINK ABOUT ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP. WON'T BE AS STRESSFUL LOL.

I was looking though the layouts for our blogs. I couldn't find one that I liked the best so I really can't believe I said screw it and went with a valentines one. I also made a playlist with some love songs that I know and love.

SOME OF US MAY BE SAD THAT THE NEW YEAR IS HERE ALL READY. I AM A LITTLE SAD BUT ONLY BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I HAVE TO GET ONE YEAR OLDER! OTHER THAN THAT THE YEAR 2010 WILL BE BETTER THAN 2009.
